As with Innova there are pro's and con's to this cat food. Again, this offers an extremely high protein content and no added grains. Here is the ingredient list.

Principle Protein Products: Turkey, Chicken, Whitefish Meal, and Salmon Meal. Also contains Chicken Meal and Potatoes.

Most cats are used to junk food, just like our kids! So real cat food takes some getting used to for your cat. Common complaints are that the cats poo smells really bad. This is because of the high protein content and if this happens you should reduce the amount that you are feeding your cat. This is not cheap cat food, but on the plus side, your cat will most likely eat a lot less and have a diet that is designed to fit its system. If I were to chose between this and Innova, CORE would rate a tad higher only because as I read real human comments and testimonial across the web, I get a better feel for the company as a whole.

Science diet has a great balance of proteins and vitamins in their cat food. This is the brand I choose myself and I think that this is a pretty good price. As a side note, although I am recommending the dry food, veterinarians suggest wet cat food, since it keeps cats better hydrated.
